3. Finding your voice.

Many people find it hard to write because they do not know how to proceed. Often, they’d start writing only to delete everything because they’re not happy with what they have jotted down. The best way to avoid this is to find your voice. Write the way you talk, and things will be easier. If you find it difficult writing in the third person perspective, write in the first person point of view instead. Talk to your readers. Some people only manage to come up with an article per day, which isn’t really productive. So time yourself. Give yourself an hour to come up with a 350 word article. You’d be surprised by how much you’d manage to accomplish within that limit.

5. Three parts of your article.

There should be three parts to your article: the introduction, the body and the conclusion. Keep these in mind. Once you’re stuck in a particular part, skip it and proceed to the next. Once that’s done, come back to the part you skipped and connect it with the finished portion. This method will make you keep moving forward, effectively avoiding the dreaded writer’s block.

6. How to close your article.

Never close your article with an invitation. Provide closure for your piece by summarizing what your readers should have learned from your work, or what your readers should expect from the knowledge they have shared.
